Before I settled on the Yaber Y31, I compared four other $50 projectors (including the Yaber Y30) to this unit, which had a flash sale for just over $240. After seeing the difference between the two, I decided it was worth the money in terms of long-term satisfaction with a good, sharp, crisp picture at native 1080P resolution and the highest possible brightness and contrast ratio. Sure you can spend a few thousand and get performance very close to that of a flat screen TV, but for a lot less I'm very happy with the performance of this projector. I will contact Yaber and suggest adding this information. I put the 1 star remote on because Yaber went from Y30 to Y31. The 30's remote had dedicated buttons for ff, rw, next and go back functions, but on the 31 these functions require navigating the on-screen menu bar and pressing OK. Why should the latest model be less user-friendly than its predecessor? So, IMO, backtrack.
