Now you can see every blemish on my face in HD and realtime :)

I should probably start with what I'm streaming on Twitch and I wanted to use my Nikon D5200 DSLR because it's sadly sitting in the corner , collect dust. I don't use this for Zoom/Skype meetings but I used it for a Discord video call. I will also list my PC specs at the end of this review for your reference. The reason I chose CamLink is because some of my streaming friends also use this device so I figured it would be the best option as they know a lot more. than me on what hardware is best for streaming. It's really just plug and play. I had no problem getting it to work with my Nikon. HOWEVER, I installed custom firmware on my Nikon D5200 that bypasses the auto-off timer. If you're not happy with modifying your camera (assuming there is modded firmware that can bypass your camera's auto power off feature), I would find another camera that has the option to natively disable auto power off if the costs don't matter. The integration with SLOBS (StreamLabs OBS) is fantastic. I can use CamLink 4K with my Elgato 4k60 PRO without any problems. I can also switch between PC and console game scenes and CamLink doesn't degrade or freeze. Overall I have no complaints about the Elgato CamLink 4k and would recommend this product to a friend.
