Review on Cool Wool Premium Natural Laundry by Meghan Saylor

It is best if you have at least 6 skeins per load.

Great idea, I really like it. I would recommend using at least all 6 on each dryer load. I usually have 2 dryers in my apartment building, so I only have 3 for each. They aren't as effective when there are only 3. They allow for better airflow and now I usually get by with just 1 cycle in the dryer - our options for these pay machines - 60 minute dryer for $1.75. I can't add another 5 or 10 minutes. If the charge is still a bit raw, I have to pay and let it run another full hour. (rrrr) So these laundry balls are really saving me money. I added lavender oil the first time, but the smell was barely noticeable on my clothes. You may need more oil, but it's too expensive. I use reinforcing granules in addition to my detergent in the washing machine and it keeps clothes smelling AMAZING for about 2 weeks! Wool laundry balls also lack the static discharge that a dryer sheet offers. Sometimes I use both tea towels and wool. It's winter and the air is so dry that some things look better with a dryer. I would recommend. It doesn't really solve everything, but it helps.
