I bought this to replace my tablet which I was completely disappointed with. What I liked about the Chromebook is that I could take it out of the box, follow a few simple instructions, and the next thing I know, I'm on Facebook with no complications or issues. It's easy to open and use and much more reliable than the tablet I had for the same price. The only thing I'm not used to is the keyboard. The keys are spaced out and this makes it harder for me to use the "touch typing" method and I just found myself searching and picking, which slows me down considerably. For this reason I want it to have the same function as my smartphone when text messages refuse to insert the correct word. I'm still learning how to use it, but I'm very happy with it at the moment. Personally, I wouldn't buy a Chromebook to replace or replace a laptop. It's great for travel due to its size and compactness, fits on your lap and doesn't overheat like a laptop.
