These sheets are very good value for money. They're so soft it's nice to hide underneath. I bought my dad a pair of yellow ones (aka light gold ones!) and I liked them so much I ordered an eggplant set. The gold color is too light for my liking but my dad loves bright colors so they suit him. I have washed both sets and they are as beautiful as ever. I haven't seen the edges come loose or have any other issues. The embroidery on the pillowcases is only on one side, but not on the sheet. It's not a big deal, but they seem cheaper. They go very well with our deep mattresses. I have a 2 inch memory foam pillow on my bed and the sheets still fit snugly. I won't be using them in the summer because they are warmer than cotton sheets and I try to stay cool in the summer but they are definitely good for cold winter nights.
