My right foot is 1/8 inch longer than my left. A size 9 fits comfortably on the left foot but they were a bit short for the big toe on the right foot. I wore them at home for a while and the right boot stretched enough to be comfortable. 10's would be too big. I love these shoes and I have another pair from two years ago. The fabric is great, they hold up well, are water permeable and look good. I wear them almost every day in the summer as normal shoes, to the beach and to the river. I've never worn them outside. tiled pool but I think they will be a bit slippery. They initially slipped a bit on my kitchen tiles until wearing them on the sidewalk outside rubbed the soles a bit. If you only want them for indoor pools, like the YWCA does for aqua aerobics, you know the floor won't stick at all.
