KingWin EZ-Dock works great with Seagate 6TB on new Mac Pro for Drobo backup

Revain's description says the maximum drive size is 3TB, but I checked KingWin and they said it supports the latest ones 6 drives TB. You're right! I use it with Seagate 6TB and it works great for Drobo Thunderbolt RAID backup on Mac Pro. USB isn't as fast as a Thunderbolt dock, but since it's used for the occasional SuperDuper cloning, that's not a problem, and the EZ Dock's price is hard to beat. Consider me very pleased. Incidentally, I wanted to use a 6TB Seagate in a NewerTech Voyager Q Firewire Drive dock (running through a Belkin Thunderbolt Express with a Firewire 800 port) but they just formatted it to 1.6TB with the dock. . The EZ-Dock has also solved this formatting problem, along with the good performance of USB 3.

Pros
