I wanted long skirts and these are LOOONG skirts. I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a size large (a size up), and they are bit looser in the waist than I care to have so I could've probably ordered a medium. I'm 5'8" & approx. 140 lbs. by the way. I'm debating ways to shrink the waist.I'm not sure yet if I'm a fan of the fold-over method, because it seems to add just a little thickness to my gut. I do like to have them unfolded and just running clear up to under my chest rather than my waist, with a blouse over it. These could double as sleeveless dresses, they're so long.I do like them.
