The SILVER model is designed for self sealing jars with large 1/2 inch threads and is the most common type. I buy R134A cans from Walmart and the Silver Boltigen Can works. absolutely for me. When used correctly, NO R134A is wasted! (TIP: Check if you can buy b4 threads to make sure they aren't defective.) For people who haven't made this b4, tighten the valve first, but not HE-MAN! Then, CAREFULLY screw the faucet onto the threads of the can. Be careful not to cross threads or damage the can threads by over tightening. Attach the hose of your choice to the faucet outlet. I use a faucet with this: Atoplee charge hose 1pc R134A with low pressure gauge (250 PSI) and bottle opener with valve and 1/4" converter. Bonus: If there is any refrigerant left in the can you can use it with the faucet turned on and keep the valve closed, just store it in a safe place.
