Review on TOKEYLA 5 Modes 18650 Flashlight with Two-Slot Charger and 6-Pack 4000mAh Button Top Rechargeable Batteries by Michael Boyce

When I first received these batteries and flashlight I was so happy because the light was so bright. If I put a flashlight on the table, it lights up the whole room. I figured I could just use this when the power went out instead of the flashlight because the flashlight seemed to work much better. But then when I used it for everyday purposes (going to the backyard at night to buy something, etc.) I found that the flashlight got very hot after a while of use. However, I continued to use the flashlight and batteries and put one of the batteries in my other flashlight. Every time I used it for more than a short time, the lights got hot. Then I found that the battery life sucks. This should take much longer than now. I don't use it very often, and when I do it's mostly for short periods of time, but I've found that I have to charge the battery much sooner than I expected. I then charged one of them, and later when I went to get the charger to charge the second one, I noticed that the charger smelled like smoke (like it was smoldering inside)! So I don't know if I miraculously escaped the fire, but I won't risk using it again. I read a lot of reviews on this product but didn't find anything major that bothers me so I wanted to make sure I leave this review to warn others if it wasn't just my order. I want to send them back, but I've already missed the return deadline.
