These light bulbs are unique and give an interesting effect as pictured. Although the maximum impact is seen when the bulb is bare, it also made my white plain plastic shade have an interesting texture and rainbow color. The light is more decorative than for lighting up a room, but it provided more light than I expected.I think these bulbs would be great for party decorating.

I put this in the living room lamp and it is pretty as you look down on it. There is not enough light to be able to use it as a lighting source for reading or anything of that nature. It is a nice ambient light

These bulbs have a chrome look to them when shut off and you would never expect what you see when you turn them on. They have such a cool looking 3d effect to them that you will find yourself wanting to just stare at it. This bulb is a regular LED bulb, except that it has a :firework" design pattern inside that is stationary. I guess I was expecting more, but it only had a dull colored but of light tubes exactly as you see in the image. I was expecting a flowing effect, of some soft of glowing, or flickering or something. The bulb itself when light is pretty. The light coming out of it is minimal. It shows the Starburst affect but that's it. They made it seem it would shine up on ceiling make patterns etc etc. It is ok for light watching q movie and u need just enough light to see ur 🍿!
