I almost never leave without my MacBook Pro or 12" Macbook, but when I'm giving presentations I always need a way to connect my computer to connect to the projector. I've been able to use this adapter and it has always worked flawlessly. The best thing about a 12" MacBook is that I can charge my computer while I'm giving a presentation. Otherwise with only one USB port, I had problems before buying because there is only one USB-C port on a 12" MacBook. To present people's presentations on my computer. So every time I go to lectures or presentations, this adapter comes with me. It also has an ethernet port. Once I tried to access the hotel's wired internet with a dongle and ethernet and it didn't work.
