The skirt is opaque, the color corresponds to the picture. The item is definitely Asian sizing which means it runs quite small and you would do well to measure your waist and choose the right fit. For me, this meant buying a 27.5" waist, which by their standards is a size L, which is about 1-2 sizes larger than what I typically buy at western clothing stores. It's quite short, so I'd like to have shorts attached to it. like some other skirts. One thing that really bothers me about this product is the construction. It seems quite durable but I already have a small hole along the zipper and I've only worn this item twice! Of course, this has exceeded a return window, so there's nothing I can do about it other than try to fix it. Well I will try similar skirts from other sellers to avoid repeating this problem.
