I think I'll get more use from this silicon mat than I originally thought! Both sides have potential for multiple uses (mat for placing cooking utensils while preparing meals, draining mat for utensils/glasses/bowls, trivet for small hot pot/pan, etc.) The ridges on top are quite firm so they don't collapse and the mat can hold the item above any dripped liquid. The underside has curved recessed grooves so will hold some liquid as well, while the firm ridges on the opposite side hold the mat above the countertop. The mat rinses clean easily. Item shipped quickly and arrived on time. I would buy from them again.
