I think I'll get more use from this silicon mat than I originally thought! I love the silicone mats because all you have to do is rinse them off with a little bit of soap in the sink or throw it in the dishwasher and you're all set, whereas with a fabric drying mat if you don't wash it, it gets stinky and is basically a breeding ground for bacteria. I don't have any problems with this moving around on the counter and if I ever wanted to store it away after use to make more room I can just roll it up and stick it somewhere for the time being. I like my new silicone dish drying mat which is a more hygienic alternative than the common ones. It’s sturdy and easy to clean but it takes longer to dry out. I like the black mat, it has a sleek look and is very discreet but it keeps the dried water stains. (Easy clean up). Xl is a Good size, holds a lot. Overall, happy about my purchase.

Works as advertised and described. If you have hard water, you may experience some spotting but the item is durable enough that you can use a soft to medium bristle brush to clean it with no issues. We bought two, one for underneath a dish drying rack and one for general counter top use and we really like them.

I am one to always have a drying mat on the counter especially with a toddler I’m always washing bottles or little forks and spoons. I like the fabric ones but they get soaked and moldy easily. I ordered this and do like it better, but it’s not very deep so it’s easy to get water spilling all over the counter. Also if you let it sit too long it gets slimey, so now I try to hang it up daily to dry out.

I bought this mat to protect the top of my small refrigerator thats roughly the same size. Only thing is that the mat is REALLY 17 3/4" X 15 3/4" and NOT 18" X 16" size that I wanted. But I made it work anyway. My refrigerator is black so the black mat looks real nice on top of it.

The silicone mat has many uses; as a mat used to stabilize cutting board, placing hot pots, preparing items and it looks attractive on counter. It protect kitchen counter from stains, damage, and is useful for many other needs.

I've always had the fabric drying mats. My current ones were getting pretty old and not as absorbent. I came across this product and thought what the heck it can't be any worse then my current solution. I was totally wrong. Where has this been all my life? It is much better then the fabric one, you don't have to be constantly washing it or having stinky wet fabric hanging around the kitchen. I chose this mat due to its slim size and water resistant silicone. Unfortunately the water somehow gets under the mat defeating my purpose for using it.

This is a good mat for counter but water gets underneath and I can't figure out why. hard to clean serves it purpose but probably would not buy again

durable small scale, but useful grooved drain pad; no wet counter, no chipped glassware and can throw in top of dishwasher, (flat space) to disinfect. Probably could be propped up or loosely rolled to clean in dishwasher as well. No fuss, no muss, no drying as excess moisture drains into self well and evaporates I guess. Didn't think it was worth the price, now priceless!

You put something wet on this thing and it just collects standing water that eventually dries and makes the mat look dirty afGet an absorbent cloth thing instead

I've always used a cloth drying mat and would hate how often I needed to send it through the wash due to it constantly being wet. This drys my dishes SO MUCH quicker and cleans so easily. It also has a little hole on one end and hangs nicely in a cabinet when not in use! Perfect addition to my inexpensive kitchen upgrade!

Used the one mat for heat barrier under my air fryer that sits on our countertop and it works good. The other one is for drying dishes easy to get rid of the water that runs of the dishes just pick it up and pour water in the sink works good. The cloth ones need to be hung up to dry.
