I used glass paints in the past, but none of them were permanent. I like the Pebeo Vitrea 160 Glass Paint Set with Moshify Brushes because it has a good range of colors to start with. I am currently working on a project with them. I paint a transparent glass mug. Moshify brushes are beautifully smooth and have a secure tip. They should last a long time with good care. For use as a paint it can be layered like any other paint and the colors blend well. The difference is that it is a thermosetting varnish. The paint is cured with a domestic oven after your painting is finished. I've ordered a few more Vitrea 160 products complete with kit, assorted colors, thinner and a tube of Ink Black Outliner. All the different Vitrea 160 products work well together. This is an introductory set, the Vitrea 160 line includes 27 different colors. Varnish works on different surfaces, for example on metal. I haven't tried it yet, but it's worth noting that there are countless uses. As long as a painted surface can withstand 160 degrees Celsius in your oven, it can probably be stained with paint. A major video website outside of Revain provides detailed instructions with plenty of demos, and the official website provides more details and a MSDS request feature, which is available for all of their products. Pebeo Vitrea 160 is a high quality paint suitable for use by senior students, professionals and hobbyists. I do not recommend it for use by young children, especially unsupervised.
