I didn't expect miracles from this camera. But I figured it would be an inexpensive way to snap some vacation photos with my family and friends. All images are blurry. I thought I was. Maybe I have a tremor. So I set a timer and put the camera on the tabletop so it would NEVER shake. Also blurry picture. I have better pictures with an expired disposable cardboard camera sold at the local drugstore for $5. at the camera. They're not really intuitive, but they're not entirely useless. Of course it is small and light. Insert batteries and an SD card (all sold separately) and you're good to go. But this year my mother died. I really wanted to capture the holidays with my father, the only family I have left, as a keepsake. I wish I could invest some decent money in a good digital camera. But I can not. I was hoping this would at least help capture some simple photos of cookies, silly sweaters, and morning coffee. It went wrong. abominable. I wouldn't recommend it as a children's camera. Sorry Vivitar. This garbage.
