AMAZING ICE TUB! Better than onyx. I switched to stainless steel when I heard the plastic/BPA warnings. After 3 years I bought 3 Onyx ice cube trays. 2 of them are in the trash right now. Although they appear strong, they are difficult to break through ice and will eventually shatter. So when I needed to buy another I switched to this endurance brand. WOW! It seems a bit shallower so maybe that helps the ice not get too thick to break. But it's SO EASY to break the ice! I ran it after about 4 or 5 cycles. Freezing and breaking ice, and very little force is required. (The trick with any metal ice tray is to run water over the bottom so the ice doesn't stick when you try to crack it.) A metal tray freezes better, doesn't absorb odors like plastic trays, so the ice stays fresh tastes and good. clean. not like an onion in your fridge or anything. We love the ice cream that comes out! A little pricey but I love it and will be ordering more once I've finished this review. Hope this helps someone!
