Review on SMAKN® Channel Isolated Optocoupler Trigger by Vinay Kolluri
Good mod and price.
This is my first project with relay modules and I am happy with the results. I am using this to drive a 12v DC motor (linear actuator) in both directions. The trigger is a light barrier switch. I've attached the schematic of how I set it up. The photocell activates the relay at dusk, turning the motor on and turning it off at dawn, reversing the motor. There are many ways to connect this module. My drawing does not show the photo sensor used as a trigger. With this I open and close the chicken coop door.
