Update: I've been using them for about 10 months now. They are washed once a week and ONLY in the air dryer. overall I'm very happy with it. The quality is amazing. Nothing is broken and everything is whole. Although not as soft as at first, my guinea pigs love them. I'm glad enough I bought another set about a month ago. Just know that if you are looking for something waterproof, this product is not for you. If you change them regularly, they are waterproof. This makes them absorbent, but not waterproof. The only reason I gave that one star is because they are definitely NOT ALL WATERPROOF. The description is completely wrong which is not only wrong but disappointing to say the least. The thickness is large and they are well made. I believe they will last. The urine comes out completely, which is good for keeping the guinea pigs dry but does not protect the litter underneath. Again, they are NOT WATERPROOF and I have 2 sets of these. Maybe these changed the material of the floor, they are not waterproof, the floor is composite, PVC, non-slip. All 8 of me have nylon pants and see my tag for proof. POLYESTER! It is non-slip and not waterproof. Not even waterproof. Please see the picture which shows it is not waterproof, liquid will go through the bottom. I touched the bottom of the pad with the cloth.
