Costs money! - Small animals

I use this underlay under guinea pig pens. This helps me extend the time between washes of my girls' plaid wool. The pads are just the right size, wash off easily and the price is right! I recommend them and plan more of them myself.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some problems

Small but just what I wanted

I bought them to put in the beds and hammocks in my guinea pig cage. They fit perfectly in size. Now I don't have to clean the spots as often, I can just swap out and wash the pads. The only thing that bothers me is the plastic wrap on the bottom. We haven't chewed it yet, but we'll see.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Very helpful. I use them daily.

I bought these for use in high traffic areas for our guinea pigs. I like their absorbency, they are very easy to remove and shake. I liked them so much that I ordered two more sets. They are very suitable for extending the time between large fleece inserts. If you have small animals I think this is a must.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Useless features

Love the absorbency!

I love these! They are perfect for my needs and the needs of my piglets. I just ordered more. I bought these to put in the two corners where my two piggies like to pee. They work so well that I started using them in the hay/forage area as that area gets the most urine. You stay flat. My piglets love to dig, and if there's an opportunity to dig under something, they will. They lie perfectly flat (corners will not curl before drying) and have not yet been buried. I wish they were different sizes.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Non-absorbent for homes and living spaces

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to wet pads so I bought these. If you want something that will absorb urine and prevent it from getting into anything underneath, don't buy these. Urine goes right through them. While they're easier to clean than Papa Guinea liners, they end up being more work for me because now the liner underneath gets dirty too. However, they are very soft. So if you don't mind letting the urine sink to the bottom layer, this will help make your guinea pig's cage that…

Pros
  • Free for educational use

  • Not sure

Special - PADS not for everyone

My daughter uses paper sheets, I hate putting paper sheets away and they are everywhere. I love these pee pads. I just change 2 pads every 2nd or 3rd day and I bought 2 sets of 4 pads so I always have clean pads. I don't mind washing by hand in a bucket and hanging from a rope. you work for me I only have to change the huge main cage liner once a week (I have 2 cage liners, one for use and one for reserve), they are washable too. I no longer have the mess or smell of paper sheets AND I no…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Although NOT waterproof still satisfied after 10 months

Update: I've been using them for about 10 months now. They are washed once a week and ONLY in the air dryer. overall I'm very happy with it. The quality is amazing. Nothing is broken and everything is whole. Although not as soft as at first, my guinea pigs love them. I'm glad enough I bought another set about a month ago. Just know that if you are looking for something waterproof, this product is not for you. If you change them regularly, they are waterproof. This makes them absorbent, but not…
