I am using this on a 3rd monitor mainly for spreadsheets, 1080p monitor. Here's how it works. Look at the picture of my driver. After a few connections, the device emulated what the computer thought was a "drive" with drivers. I installed the Windows 7-10 driver that popped up. Rebooted computer and it worked. I'd like to add that I've also tried installing other drivers from the web and using "Driver Booster" but I can't say if they worked at all. Image quality: ok. The only problem I have is with the framerate. As you move objects around the screen, you'll find that they don't move as smoothly as they do on a regular monitor. If you plan to play high frame rate games here, be prepared for some issues. If you want the other screen to show spreadsheets, that's perfectly fine. If you want it for gaming you will be disappointed.
