Broke after a few months
I fitted these to my Wrangler to secure the front of the hard top to the upper windshield frame. They lasted several months and now they are not tightened. There are bolts holding the entire top of the jeep in place and this was done to just tighten it against the gasket I put in place to keep the draft out. These things were supposed to compress literally 3/4 inch of soft foam (about 5 pounds of pressure), but they broke maybe 6 times after driving 15 minutes on regular roads to Home Depot.
