I bought these thinking I might use them for a small closet. Turns out I used them under a shelf which is great for the bed I put in so you can use it for bed reading without having to reach up and flip the switch. I was able to turn it off with either remote. It was nice to have additional colors. Most likely I will not use other colors. I love that I can now use the other three lights elsewhere in the house. I bought batteries. I don't know how long it takes for the battery to die. I showed it to my sister and she will order these headlights too.
