My 3 star rating reflects the fact that these are really sheets, they fit well, are the same color as the picture and are probably cotton. Unfortunately, after two washes and immediately after being tossed out of the dryer, they wrinkle incredibly and don't even relax to a semi-crumpled state after lying on the bed for a while. Pillowcases wrinkle even more with use. I don't know if my husband's head weighs more than average, but his pillowcase looks like the wrinkles have been smoothed out. I also agree with the reviewers who are negative about the texture/softness. I would describe the "feel" as gritty. Sandy and THIN. I've had many sets of fine cotton bedding over the years and have never had anything that took 30 washes to look and feel like cotton bedding. We just bought a new adjustable king bed so we needed new bedding and had to use these sheets. A gorgeous new fancy bed that looks like a pile of dirty laundry. Pretty disappointing.
