Withstood a tough bathroom clean

I had a run down china tub and soap/water stained tiles that would have looked pretty impressive before and after pic; I'm sorry I didn't take it. What I want to say about drill brushes is that they can give hope to the desperate. It still required a lot of hand and knee work, only for the drill to grease the elbows and provided some instant results, while my few minutes of manual cleaning left no dents. Not at all. For cleaning the bathroom, I would choose one of the well-known bathroom cleaners before buying it, it's much cheaper in the long run. None of the products in the bathroom cleaner range magically remove anything. (I've seen some people on the forums mention a smokeless oven cleaner as a hands-free bathroom cleaner; that's one thing I haven't tried. I definitely wouldn't use it in combination with a brush drill product everywhere.) Brushes for when I'm in the bathroom I ended up using a Dawn/vinegar/water mixture or Bar Keeper's Friend powder for the worst spots. Be careful with whitening products as the bristles spinning at high speed can throw the product where you didn't intend. with any product I would recommend for eye protection. If you have a particularly bad cleaning job or want to use drill brushes regularly I would recommend a corded drill which many technicians/professionals will spot if you look up videos of these in action. Spinning those big bits just ate the batteries of the 20 volt drill I suggested for this project (admittedly nickel-cadmium, but still). I suspect that all these drill brushes are made in the same factory in the People's Republic; I would not spend money on "famous brand". With the extension nozzle this was the best deal I found on a set after researching the usual online sources. Through all my research, it turned out that different brush colors mean different bristle stiffness. The yellow brushes are said to be for bathrooms/tiles/porcelain, the white brushes for upholstery and the black brushes for intensive exterior cleaning. 4 stars; I'm deducting a star because I noticed wear and tear on the brushes during this first bathroom cleaning and lost a few bristles.

Pros
  • * * ✔Butt and long reach nozzle fits most cordless drills
