Review on Yellow/Black AIRHEAD Foot Pump with 54-inch Long Hose by Jeffrey Gallagher

This foot pump is ideal for inflatable boats. I was looking for an air pump for my boat to inflate water toys for kids and inflatable deck chairs and floats for adults. It pushes a fair amount of air and runs really fast. We take a lot of swimmers and I didn't want to drain my battery so I looked for a mechanical foot pump as it's easier to push with my feet. This pump works great. Someone removed the stars because they slide across the surface of the boat. That's right, because it's made of hard plastic and slides easily over the fiberglass deck. But I put a towel underneath and that solves the problem. Really, come on, you either have a good all-purpose pump that you can take on the boat with a minimum of rusty parts (the duct tape is metal, but I thought of replacing it with a long, strong tie). The band is the only part that will rust. But I've used it all summer on my boat in salt water and it hasn't rusted. I'll clean it up as soon as I get home. I love that you can switch the hose from inlet to outlet. It also helps blow out the air. I recommend and will buy again if this one slows down.
