This was a last minute decision and was easier to use than I expected. The quality was also better than expected. I think I turned the iron on too high (to the hottest setting) and the clear coat melted on the first two tries. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT. only a few stones did not stick. I simply attached them with tweezers as instructed in the instructions. Once I switched the temperature to MEDIUM, the film rose nicely after applying the heat. I decided to quickly place the iron directly on the rhinestones after removing the clear film from each shirt to ensure the stones were set. It worked fine. My bridesmaids will be delighted with their gifts.
