Calibration needed out of the box, then accurate within two weeks
Out of the box this showed a high pH of around 1-1.5 units. I used the supplied calibration chemicals and they confirmed that the readings were high. After that I was able to get accurate results for about two weeks before it went too low and lo and behold it went too high again. The only good thing about the tester is that he was so wrong that I knew immediately he couldn't be trusted. If it was only 0.5 I would agree with him.
