They are perfect for my needs. As a locksmith, I sometimes have to hand grind small carbide tools with a diamond grinder. These glasses allow me to use both hands instead of holding a magnifying glass in one hand while trying to grind with the other. The focal length (about 3 inches) is a bit further than my loupe, so my face isn't that close to the grinder now. The quality is on par with other reading glasses I've bought from local pharmacies, but they're a lot cheaper. The included hard case keeps my glasses safe in my tool box. I'm very happy with my purchase.
