Not the same as Eheim.

Definitely different from the Eheim.Build quality is cheaper and there is no internal fan.Easy to tell that is is less substantial from the quality of the plastic, but so far it is working as it should.If your setup is such that you do not need the fan to circulate air to keep food dry and take take a little care in handling, you may be satisfied.After looking over all the offerings on revain I would still opt for the Eheim for reliability and consistency.
