Turning on the switch is similar to old fashioned light switches where you have to press the switch a little to turn on the light. In itself this is not a problem, but when you use velcro it becomes a problem. Velcro (approx. 2.5 cm) is located in the center back of the long sides. The Velcro prevents the light from sticking firmly to the surface. Now when you use the switch, the device will rock with the Velcro on the sides and the force required to turn the light on and off. The original devices (as seen on TV) had velcro straps on the ends that were on either end and the switch turned on and off with little effort. This gave support to the ends of the derailleur so it didn't wobble when the derailleur was used. The two negatives are the switch and the location of the velcro.
