This is much better than I expected! With rugged and durable all-metal construction, these speaker stands take it to new heights and offer more headroom than most other desktop speaker stands under $100. At the highest settings, they sit perfectly at ear level, which is hard to find on other racks I've tried. The stands come with four shelves, meaning you can use the extra shelf underneath the speakers for other things you may or may not like. Assembly is easy and involves attaching the shelves to the shelf with two screws. A piece of cake. I use them with my Fluance Signature bookshelf speakers, which weigh 9.7 pounds each. These racks handle the weight LIKE A BOSS. Someone mentioned they are too wobbly, I say bullshit! You could easily accommodate speakers even heavier than mine. There's a slight bounce that should make for a better acoustic experience. But things are stable and secure, otherwise I wouldn't entrust them with my precious catchy speakers. FACT. It's a cat meow!
