Works great with Pioneer 4500NEX and CarPlay cards. I think.

CarPlay maps work great with this GPS, but also work great without it. I'm not sure, but I believe if the head unit provides a GPS signal output, CarPlay will use it, and if no GPS signal is available, Apple Maps will use the iPhone's GPS signal. I tried it and it worked both ways.
