I wasn't sure but for the price I gave it a try. I connected it to my router and was very surprised with the results. The bucket seal was good and after routing the edges on 9 drawer faces I was surprised at how clean my routing table was. I have an old industrial vacuum and am sure it will get even cleaner with a newer vacuum with more suction power. The big test will come when I use my planer. Highly recommended for a small shop that doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a dust collection system. Now I have two of these to reduce the transition time from one tool to the other.
