This chair is so pretty but so uncomfortable. The pillow is very hard, which is not ideal. I would say it's like putting a thin hard pillow on a bench. It doesn't really have a "return". However, the seat depth is good and you feel more comfortable than sitting upright. However, the color and style are great. I can't imagine wanting to sit in it every time I eat at my table, but it's certainly a pleasure to look at. Assembly: It literally took me 10 minutes to unbox and assemble the chair. (I timed it) It will help if you put screws in one of the top and bottom x's to line up with the holes in the base of the chair and hand tighten them slightly before screwing in. I've included images to show the color during the day versus the dimmer evening lighting.
