Review on Outstanding Boil Times & Fuel Savings: Bulin 1.5L Lightweight Camping Cooking Pot Heat Exchanger For Hiking & Backpacking by Pushkraj Barton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's a steal for my opinion

For a 1.5 l heat exchanger pot, this is an absolute bargain. I've been testing it at home for a week, and have yet to find any significant issues with it. Using an MSR pocket rocket 2, I can get two cups of water to boil in one minute 45 seconds, and a liter to boil in slightly over three. That's a significant improvement over several aluminum non-heat exchanging technology pots that I have, which will result in more than a fair trade for the slightly higher weight. For the record I got 8.2 oz for pot and lid. That's pretty sporty at this price point. I'll update this review after I put it through the paces in the backcountry.

Pros
  • Food-grade Material
Cons
  • The pot is not very durable and can easily dent or scratch
