Elegant style Inefficient to use!

This chopper is very stylish, but compared to the Rival chopper I bought at Walmart for $5.99 about 7 years ago, it doesn't compare. I tried grinding bread (1 slice) for a mix, not grinding into crumbs. After about a minute of milling, the bread was still chunky.
