Not the size I expected, mainly because the last 12" fan I bought was a real 12" fan with blades and this fan was a total size 12 inch with 8 inch wings, which is not very impressive. . To be honest the smaller version is cheaper as the fan size is 8" and the blades are 6" according to the info I got from the seller. The 8 inch blades don't fill out this 12 inch fan very well. You're doing math because my head hurts. I don't know why it's advertised that way and I have no idea why the smaller model is more proportional than the larger. Why even advertise it as a 12" fan when the fan blades are only 8"? The fan blades could easily have been 10 inches, which is the same proportions as the smaller model, just slightly larger. In my opinion these fans don't really have a 4 inch difference in size when the difference between the fan blades is only 2 inches. Don't get me wrong, the fan works, and it works fairly well, which is why it's 3 stars and not 1st star. If you need a small portable fan, just choose the 8 inch version unless the larger model is sold out.
