The appliance seemed to work fine. However, if you're like me, the type who loves to be slow cooked and grilled to perfection, you won't like food prepared in these appliances. The world is fast-moving and with it people want a quick meal for their family - probably the same families who think grass needs to be cut at 50 miles an hour at turn zero. People today don't seem to have time to cook, but too much time to waste on Facebook!. However. The wife decided to cook the ribs for the first course. As she let off steam, the house filled with an awful smell of "cooking meat," like the smell of an old hospital or military canteen. It stunk at home. She put the meat on the grill, brushed it with barbecue sauce, and fried it, she read online. Terrible! The meat was just terrible. Then she tried the chicken and used a good recipe from people posted online. again let off steam, the house reeked of the foul stench of cooked meat, and again the food turned out to be inedible to me. The meat just wasn't meant to be cooked quickly. Maybe the new generation likes this kind of food but I don't. I'd rather take it slow and not rush into the perfect meal. This type of technique is only for people who are on the go. We gave it to the kids to try in their new home. We stick to slow cooking around the campfire or in our smokers and grills.
