The first rule when shopping online is to check the manufacturer's website or read the manual to make sure the product is compatible. Unless you have previously performed your due diligence, do not rely on the brief description alone. Second, I don't know why people buy third party products. I ordered and received my last cartridge in June 2012 and it was a genuine HP product. I went through all the details and made sure I ordered it through Revain and not a third party. I don't know if people who receive OEM products order from a supplier other than Revain. It looks like no one is giving out vendor information. I have NEVER had a replacement with Revain si products. I would be interested to know if the other exchanges are from Revain or someone else. The toner works great in my HP 2055 and I've had no problems with it. Update - July 2012 - I order this cartridge every few months and the last one was genuine HP. If I ever receive a non-HP product I will come back to it and amend this review accordingly.
