The tool appears to be of good quality. If a tool is used, it will not fully fit into the oil filter cover. I've shot enough to take off my hat. It felt like there was too much paint on it and it didn't match. I'll take the paint off and try again.

I finally changed the oil on a 2014 Toyota Avalon yesterday. What I didn't like is that the key gets stuck in the filter housing canister which is a genuine Toyota part. I had a hard time pulling it out of the canister after pulling it out from under the engine.

This is a solid product but I found it very very comfortable. So tight I could only get it halfway down the filter housing. I was concerned that it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to remove the filter from the housing once I had it fully on and that it would take too much effort to remove afterwards; There is a risk of the filter housing breaking.
