Hello, I bought this product for a wheelchair ramp that leads to a porch that I built in front of my shed/workshop. The ramp made of varnished and sealed wood is quite steep and therefore quite slippery when wet after rain or morning dew. My biggest concern is using this type (glue) because of the heat and scorching sun here in Florida! I drove up and down the ramp for the first few hours after installation. Eventually I had to brake the descending chair. This caused the belt to slip and buckle a little on one side under the weight of the bike. While not visible from a distance, showing off a brand new deck I've been working on for days makes me ashamed of the defect for an ultra-perfectionist like me! For now, my solution to this problem is to not "slam on the brakes" on the way down to avoid future damage. However, this will not eliminate the unsightly wrinkles that are now present! Having used up both rolls I bought I don't have the materials to remake this strip. That pesky detail aside, this is a GREAT product and definitely adds a lot of appeal to my project. And with a few cautions, I'll happily recommend your product to my friends! hp After being in place for a few days the tape seems to have "seized" on the ramp and seems to be sticking tighter now! I wish I had more tape to redo the affected area!
