Loved the steamer concept when I stopped at AirBnB where you could use a professional steamer . He appeared to be at least 20-30 years old. I used it on all my clothes and was shocked to see the wrinkles disappear from all my clothes in a matter of seconds. I finally decided and bought this steamer with good reviews. I tried it on heavier pants and found after 10 minutes of trying it did next to nothing. Then I tried it on a shirt, same result. Then, out of curiosity, I tried it on a very thin crumpled t-shirt. It worked but took a good 5 minutes. I suspect that the steamer I used was of very high quality, although it didn't look like it, as it wasn't nearly as efficient. I have no idea why you're wasting time on this steam iron when an iron is faster and cheaper. Too bad - I was thrilled.
