See all updates 8 month schedule I received the SOW-4 Wave Generator on February 27th and installed it on February 28th. First impressions were exactly what I was looking for in terms of size and flow requirements, it was also completely silent. About 3 or 4 days after installation it stopped working, only the 2 middle blue lights on the speedometer came on and didn't blink. After some troubleshooting found the controller was defective we contacted Revain and they immediately sent a new one, it was great customer service. When I installed the second wave generator, it was very noisy. I mixed and matched the new controller and power supply with the original wave generator head and have been happy with the new controller for 2 weeks now. Update 10/2/2021 (8 months): 9/30/2021 when I went to feed the fish in the evening I noticed the controller was flashing again, I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in to see if that helps, unfortunately it does dead again. Update 10/27/2021: I had no luck with the manufacturer or Revain (30 day warranty expired) to replace my defective controller. I got a 24v regulator to see if the pump is working, which is what it's doing, so I'm going to run shaft generator. via my aquarium control. On the other hand, my pump is now also making very vibrating noises and cannot run more than 50% before it was silent. On my first replacement unit in February, the replacement pump had the same problem right away, so I left my original pump with the working controller.
