Very well built but doesn't fit my door

Appears to be very well built. Although at first glance it appeared identical to the door handle I was replacing, upon closer inspection it turned out that the build quality was completely different. Very well built. I did not complete the installation after realizing that it went 1/8 inch further into the doorway than the block it was replacing. It wasn't a direct replacement.
