A friend recommended this product to me so I ordered it for our grandson. Huge mistake! The valves are on the bottom, so if (and it will) leak it goes straight to the floor and under the carpet. The plugs closed with difficulty, the integrity is doubtful. The rug collapsed on the sides, making the already small rug even smaller. The directions tell you to add vinegar to stop or prevent mold. However, the high risk of mold made this product unsafe for children in my opinion. They also said to add warm water to keep the mat warm for the baby. We did just that, and when we put him down on the mat, it was cold. The mat is very small and the fish didn't move as the company would like you to believe. The company says to change the water at least once a week, but you can't dump all the old water. My parents and I hated this product so much we couldn't wait to box it up and get our money back.
