The kit itself is simple to install; however, you will need a longer set of wires in one way or another. I have a Jeep Wrangler and the cable that goes from the control box to the switch panel is not long enough. If I’d have run the panel Uber the hood on the driver side, to make the control cable long enough, I’d have to get a new power cable as the supplied cable is not long enough. I installed the control box under the hood close to the battery, and now I am not able to put the switch panel in the location I want until I get an extension cable. I believe the company should make the control cable a few feet longer or include the extension cable in the kit. I guess I have a neat, unusable system until I order an extension cable. This headache is why Ibhave given it a 3-star review. The control box and switch panel are very well built. The brackets that come with it are all very well built as well; the kit just falls short in the length of cables.
