I've been feeding my cats Meow Mix for years and they love it. They were healthy, had good teeth, the right weight and so on. But they lose a lot. I used to think their shedding numbers were "normal" until I noticed how much (or how little) other cats shed. I started looking for ways to reduce her hair loss and one of the first things I found was to improve her diet. I spent weeks browsing through dozens of different products. Wet or dry, this brand is more important than that brand. In the end I settled on Blue Buffalo. I mixed their food together for the first two weeks to make their life easier and then switched them to BB entirely. They love the food and most importantly their coat has improved a lot. I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said the hair loss has decreased by 90%. The Blue Buffalo is obviously more expensive than the crap I fed them before, but it's a lot better for their fur so it's worth it.
