Review on Unigear Snorkeling Panoramic Detachable Anti Leak by Paul Stocks

Just got back from Hawaii where I first used this mask. After using it for 5 minutes, I felt weird and had trouble breathing. Removed and tried 3 more times. I saw people using these full face masks and thought the design looked brilliant. More visibility and my face will be dry. After telling someone about my difficulties and very difficult breathing when using the mask, they referred me to the internet where warnings were posted that people were dying using these full face masks. I think I was breathing my own CO2 and couldn't get fresh air through the mask opening. I'm an experienced swimmer, but I knew something was wrong. I'm not sure if a child or an inexperienced diver will find out about the problem until it's too late. I'm going back to my old style. The snorkel shops on Maui do not rent them to customers. Very insightful.
